Here are a few shots around town....the lakes by the house (where teddy likes to bully the swans and ducks), the danish flea market, the empty flat (ugh!), etc...

Tommy was our pack mule, dragging all of our survival necessities up to the hut (Lasagna, brownies & wine).  I love going places with him!!

It was very peaceful in those woods.

Almost there!

We have to cross this lake and climb the hill to the hut.

The wind was blowing through here.  Hey, where's he going with those brownies?!

1980 Family History

Recently came across a paper that I had you kids write in 1980. It consists of 3 parts for each of you. These were your wished for the year ahead.
1. Things I Need.
2.Things I Want.
3. Things I Wish.

Karen went first.
1. Things I Need: She left this blank
2.Things I Want: rollerskates and 10 speed bike
3. Things I Wish: Peace in the world, I want to see Cathy Pimental, Win a trip to Hollywood.

Kristin
1. Things I Need: Healthy Family
2.Things I Want: Save money for Mom & Dad's trip, rollerskates, disco lite.
3. Things I Wish: swimming pool

Tommy:
1. Things I Need: rollerskates, my own room.
2.Things I want: Big Trac
3. Things I wish: Whole family take a trip to Texas.

Tatum:
1. Things I Need: my own room, new shirt, new pants, new game
2. Things I want: necklace bird, new toy window, new curtains
3.Things I wish: Toy Pencil, Toy from the cereal box.

Well Kristin had to wait 10 years but we did get the swimming pool( I think that was the year after she moved out)
All 3 who wanted or needed rollerskates got their wishes answered. And for Tatum I hope Justin lets her have the toy in the cereal box more often than Tommy would let her.
