Yeah, this was one of a few villages in the state that CMP purchased and leveled for hydroelectric power projects.
I actually have mixed fealings about it. On one hand it is a sad story when you think about all of the displaced families.
But on the other hand, the area is now much less developed than it otherwise would be if the lake was not there. The lake abuts the Bigelow Preserve, which itself would probably not exist if not for the lake project.
There's a very short documentary video on the web if you're interested:

Wake up intentional. The universe will notice. -Author Unknown
To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

That is just plain sad. I never knew that. All for power/ CMP? Is that the reason? And to dig up graves?!
This is so powerful and haunting and hard to watch.
